Munnar has several lakes and dams but Anayirangal is a dam that stands out, deserving a special place on your itinerary. The reservoir is made more beautiful by its proximity to a lake and a tea plantation. The presence of wild elephants here from the surrounding evergreen forests makes it a frequented spot by wildlife photographers.
